my sons 1st trip to the E.R

So yesterday my son tripped over someone's feet and fell into the corner a bookshelf at school which required a trip to the ER. He required 7 stitches and he took them like a champ ....until they were finished then he decided to have his meltdown

Ouch, that first pic makes it look really deep. Was the bookcase wearing red lipstick? The first pic looks like someone gave him a kiss Hopefully it heals fine and not much scarring.

yea it was deep u could almost see bone even though the pic doesn't suggest it

that is a phenomenal laceration - full thickness. I am surprised plastic surgeons werent consulted...
